Since leaving northern England I have not been seeing much for great roads and scenery. There were plenty of nice roads, and nice scenery, but it was mostly rolling farm lands and some coast. When I got to the Rhone Alpes in France I realized just what had been missing in my life. Sure, I like good museums and rolling hills, but spaghetti roads and dramatic scenery just makes me happy.
I had not even realized this is what I would find here. I knew I was heading in the direction of this kind of scenery, but I had just chosen this area because it was the right distance from where I started the day.
I was quite happy to see all this. It was the start of many, many miles of great scenery and roads.
Find spaghetti roads and you will find happiness.
